Hermione’s Bridal collection is Made to Order. Timeless silhouettes with multiple style options are combined with Hermione’s favourite embroideries to create a uniquely personal collection of dresses from her romantic archive.
The Made to Order process allows the bride to create her wedding look by selecting from over 300 style options, she can choose a unique combination personal to her. Gowns can be fully personalised with messages and sentimental embroidered details, view our gallery for inspiration.

HERMIONE’S SIGNATURE
Hermione’s style blends traditional artisan techniques with new and sustainable technologies. Fusing haute-couture handwriting with a celestial sentiment, applique organza blooms, crystal cosmic motifs and delicately beaded botanical embroideries celebrate the lavish artistry of nature.
Hermione de Paula bridal creations are modern and ethereal, inspired by the natural world and a wild, romantic spirit.
DESIGN CONSULTATION
Beginning with a one-to-one consultation at the brand’s by appointment Cottage in the heart of London’s Hampstead Heath, this first meeting lasts an hour or 90 mins and is a unique opportunity to understand the bride’s vision for her dress and her day. The Atelier team will be in touch beforehand, to determine any styles and embroideries of interest, ensuring these pieces are present at the appointment. It is also possible to arrange a virtual appointment in advance, if required.
An opportunity to explore the Hermione de Paula library of embroideries & artworks and try on a combination of different silhouettes, you will be guided by an experienced Bridal Stylist, who will advise on colour variations, customisable options and veils to complement each style. Photographs are taken during the course of the appointment, and shared with the Bride as a reference.
We welcome brides to attend with up to 2 guests and serve limitless prosecco in celebration of the occasion.
AFTER THE FIRST APPOINTMENT
Your personal Hermione de Paula Bridal Stylist will be in touch to discuss your appointment and review all the photos taken on the day. If you’d like to move forward, they will work with you to determine the made to order offerings you’re interested in, and prepare a quote for you.
We encourage Virtual appointments with our Stylists, to refine your ideas further, sharing imagery of style combinations and artworks and advising on options within budget and timeline. Second appointments can be made to re-try gowns, try a greater selection of styles, refine your ideas or bring further friends and family.
For those brides wanting to create something entirely unique, Hermione de Paula offer a Couture service
THE NEXT STEPS
Having placed a deposit to secure your gown, a timeline will be set for its creation. Hermione de Paula regularly work with international Brides and Brides having destination weddings, and sets its timelines based on the Bride’s collection date (as opposed to wear date).
You will be invited back to the Atelier to have your measurements taken (this can also be done virtually if necessary).
MADE TO ORDER
Hermione de Paula Made to Order dresses are made to order in the size nearest to your measurements. Each dress is handmade and takes a small team of specialist artisans a minimum of 8 months to create.
Some styles can be created within a shorter timeframe, but may require a rush fee.
MADE TO MEASURE
With the Made to Order Collection, artwork and embroideries are hand engineered onto a gown pattern of a set size. The Made to Order collection is available in size UK6 – UK20. Because of the huge amount of handwork that goes into our gowns, Made to Measure embroidered and embellished gowns are available only for Couture clients. FINAL FITTINGS
Hermione de Paula work towards a gown completion date 2 – 3 months prior to collection date and recommend two fittings within this time, hosted at the Hampstead Atelier. It is important that the bride wears her wedding shoes, and correct underwear. During the first fitting, the gown will be pinned to perfection, and the bride invited back once all alterations have been made, to try on and take home the final, flawless wedding gown.

FINISHING TOUCHES
Hermione de Paula is renowned for the personalisation of her designs and the talented atelier team can weave hidden personal messages, dates, names and symbolic sentimental images such as flowers or beloved pets, into the embroidery of the gown.
Hermione de Paula offers a signature collection of veils to compliment the Collection. Available pret a porter and within the Made to Order collection, veils can also be made entirely bespoke with the Couture service.
Personalisation is available across all HdeP collections, on gowns and veils. Though this is limited on the Made to Order collection, with Couture the possibilities are limitless.
